We built the house with exposed stone and other natural materials, just as it is done in the local countryside. Inside, we used mainly clay and raw earth. Both these materials are totally recyclable, environmentally friendly, naturally prevent the formation of allergy-causing molds, regulate room humidity, and have the ability to limit dust and odors in the air, thus maintaining a healthy environment. Even the wall heating is made with clay panels. For the walls, we chose stone, lime, wood, and hemp as an insulator, which also respects the modern anti-seismic requirements.

We are about 1 km and 200 meters from the city center, and a 15-minute walk takes you to the lakefront where you can enjoy long strolls along the lake. Otherwise, you can take the paths through the woods to reach the peaks of the nearby mountains, take advantage of the bicycle path, or visit the surfing & sailing school in Val di Sogno. We are about 2 km away from the cable car station.
